住井下男子不知去向
上午，记者再次来到现场，发现多家媒体记者来此探访，老太太前天搭在铁栅栏上的棉被不知去向，在井下居住20年之久的王先生也不见踪影。王先生居住的井不到3平方米，一侧放着军用棉被，另一侧搁着一个绿色箱子，箱上放着两双旧鞋。井壁四周的管道上放着衣物和生活用品。
“早上他还在洗车呢，8点左右来了两名陌生男子把他带走了，其中一位个子在1.7米左右，另一位稍矮、较胖。”附近的环卫工人谢先生向北京晨报记者说。记者向前晚为王先生提供住所的停车收费员打听，得知王先生并未按照民警安排的住处前往居住，当晚仍居住在井内。
老太捡废品为生

在老太太随身携带的包里，记者发现还有两个吃剩下的馍馍。“我平时主要就买馍馍吃，晚上回来有时到丽都饭店内打开水泡方便面。这一片外国人挺多，他们有时候也会送我一些面包。”谈及为何来北京，她说：“家里太穷，到北京捡瓶子一年还能赚几百块钱。”她告诉北京晨报记者，她家中有两个儿子，大儿子现在40岁左右，尚未婚娶，二儿子育有两个孩子。“他们自己糊口都困难，没法儿养活我。去年回家，孙子还跪在我面前说想上学，可是没钱，我把攒的900元钱全部给了他们。现在大孙子8岁，上二年级，小孙子5岁。”老太太透露，井盖被人封过数次，“不过他们走后，我就用锯条将铁丝锯开，接着下去居住。有好多井盖底下可以住呢，实在不行我就去三里屯，我发现那边也有地方可以住。”说完，老太太不好意思地笑起来。
两名老乡前来投奔
在与老太太聊天的过程中，又有一男一女两名拾荒者回来。“他们都是我的老乡，刚刚来北京没多长时间，我外出捡垃圾时遇到的。”这两名拾荒者以兄妹相称，都来自河南省商丘市民权县。
“哥哥今年68岁，我今年63，来自同一个地方，所以叫他哥哥。他来北京大约两个月，我才来没几天，都以捡饮料瓶为生。没地方住，外面太冷了，所以过来‘投奔’她。”记者发现，两位老太太居住在同一个井内，老大爷则在西侧不远处的一个井内单独居住。
好心人伸出援手
井盖底下有人常年居住的消息一经发出，不少读者向北京晨报打来电话，希望能为这些居住者提供帮助。北京城市学院表示，若王先生愿意，校方愿为王先生提供住所，并为其安排一份力所能及的工作，也愿资助王先生的三位孩子上学，直至大学毕业。读者周先生也希望能为王先生的孩子上学提供帮助。
两位自称朝阳区将台地区办事处的施工人员到此测量(见左图)，施工人员表示，暂时未查到这些井的产权单位。“我们打算在井盖上安装防护罩，用锁锁住，留下联系方式，若相关产权单位需要下井检查，可跟我们联系。”据施工人员透露，防护罩将做成一个高1米，长宽均为1.4米的长方体铁罩。
