Philips and Samsung Electronics on Friday acknowledged that two companies spot checks by Commission officials this week, was suspected of acts of unfair competition.

The European Commission announced on Thursday that its officers on Tuesday raided several production and sales of consumer electronics and small appliances business, because some of these companies limit the products sold on the Internet, thus raising the prices.

The European Commission believes that the company violated EU fair competition laws. The European Commission said in a statement: "If these restrictions exist, consumers might face higher consumption cost. ”
