新功能更人性化
此前备受关注的“抢票”功能上线，可实现动态刷新，自动提交订单的服务。新增功能通过点击按钮“更多选项”实现，在输入车次、乘车人、席别和日期后，为旅客自动刷票。
在“更多选项”中，“优先席别”和“备选日期”均有五个备选项，在抢票方面更为人性化。如果当日无票，系统便自动刷新接连四日的车票，并自动弹出订单窗口。

系统仍不够稳定
虽然新版12306拥有UI设计简洁、“抢票”功能更为便捷，以及信息分类采用标签化浏览设置等优点，但是仍有功能不全、系统不够稳定等缺点。
在体验中，新浪科技发现备受期待的“座次选择”功能并未上线，旅客仍不能自由选择靠窗或靠走道等座位。虽有“优先席别”功能，旅客可选商务座、一等座、二等座、硬座等座席，却较为鸡肋。
此外，新增支付方式“支付宝购票”功能会出现“交易失败”的错误，需重新返回提交订单。支付宝虽有较强的系统承载能力，但是新12306系统在与支付宝做交易请求和对接方面仍不够稳定。

目前将鼠标悬停在“更多选项”按钮上，会弹出“提前填写购票信息，助你购票迅如闪电”这句提示语。距离春节还有一个月，新12306是否能解决购票拥堵问题，经受住海量支付请求的考验，仍拭目以待。
