Jolla community Carol, President Chen recently accepted an interview with Linux Format magazine.

Linux Format:Jolla is separated from Nokia, the Jolla communities what kind of impact do you have?
Carol Chen: Although we have the Meego community most people are background, but we're not coming out of Nokia has split. We are not a subsidiary. On a personal note, my background is in Nokia Symbian, instead of Meego. When I was at Nokia, my job is to video engine, which is based on the open source Helix video engine. I'm interested in open source, so I know the Meego and had developed a good friendship with them. When I was leaving Nokia,, seems to have a natural instinct to want me to be with Meego's friends said that I was going to leave.
Linux Format: outside of the person's impression of Nokia, Meego systems it is good, but why it did not take full advantage of this system?
Carol Chen: I was at Nokia for eight years, it was a very good experience for me. But big companies have big problem, I think this is why we would like to set up a small company of reason. Do we really want to do, and don't have to worry about too much bureaucracy ...
We are very agile, and we don't need to open more than more than 10 meetings to make decisions. We do not need to be in layers of approval, such as for a decision, which is what I like.
Linux Format:Sailfish running on the mobile phone has caused great repercussions. Do you have any plans to develop Sailfish system flat?
Carol Chen: we now mainly focus on smartphones , but, Sailfish system is a comprehensive system, it can run on most hardware. We are building a Sailfish League, so we welcome any partners to join us, and they carry Sailfish system equipment. The device could be a Tablet, can also be a smart TV and so on. Of course, Sailfish systems running on different devices to make the appropriate changes, however, the Sailfish system is really easy to run on different devices. There is such a need, we can help our partners to develop appropriate Sailfish system version they use.

Linux Format：Sailfish在手机上运行引起了很大的反响。你们有没有计划研发Sailfish系统的平板呢？
Carol Chen：我们现在主要把精力集中在智能手机上，但是，Sailfish系统是一个很全面的系统，它可以在很多硬件上运行。我们正在建立一个Sailfish同盟，因此我们欢迎任何的伙伴加入我们，也欢迎他们研发搭载Sailfish系统的设备。这些设备可以是平板，也可以是智能电视等等。当然，在不同的设备上运行Sailfish系统要进行相应的修改，但是，在不同设备上运行Sailfish系统真的很容易。有需要的话，我们可以帮助我们的合作伙伴去研发适合他们使用的Sailfish系统版本。
