Telepathwords能够预测出你下一步将要输入的字符，其秘诀就在于它掌握了一些密码方面的知识，包括

不过，微软也指出，Telepathwords也有很多缺点，它主要针对以英语单词或短语为主的密码，而且数据库收集到的信息可能不够及时等，因此除此之外的密码可能无法被预测到。例如，如果你用的是自己的名字、宠物名字、食物等较危险的密码也可能不会被检测出来，或者你用的词语是最近才开始流行的，它也可能没预测到，因此Telepathwords的检测结果仅供参考。
