　　张红琢，男，52岁，唐山市路北区张各庄居民。

　　2007年，一次偶然的机会，张红琢在网上发现一个名为“中国寻亲网”的主页，他看到《太原战役阵亡将士登记册》中记载的866名解放军阵亡将士中，有近20名唐山籍的烈士亲属不知道他们埋葬在哪里时，张红琢决定做点什么，便踏上了为烈士找家的“寻亲路”。

　　张红琢在寻访路上得知，很多烈士是在抗美援朝战场负重伤，转到后方野战医院医治无效牺牲的，烈士的遗骨都安葬在了国内，可烈士的亲属以为还埋葬在朝鲜，致使一些烈士的墓地一直无人问津。

　　在张红琢的电脑里，存放着一个个类别分明的文件夹，走访过的每一个烈士陵园作为一个文件夹，里面装满陵园的所有墓碑的照片；根据烈士墓上的碑文所写的部队番号或籍贯，到籍贯地寻找烈士英名录，进行核对。对于没有具体部队番号，或没有登记详细籍贯，或因笔误登记与现今不符，张红琢就要把记录的碑文资料与烈士英名录对比，为此还落下了眼疾。

　　6年来，张红琢已走遍大江南北，只为一个目的——为安葬在全国各地的烈士找到他们的亲人。由于长期奔波在路上，张红琢吃了很多苦，几次险遭车祸。从为唐山籍烈士寻亲，到为全国各地的烈士寻亲，他已无偿地、义务地为河北、安徽、吉林、天津、黑龙江等省市的270多位烈士找到了家人。

　　如今，张红琢依然走在寻访的路上，能让烈士魂归故里，已不是他当年的一个小小的愿望，而早已成为他生命中不可剥离的一部分。
