尊敬的各位来宾，女士们、先生们：
很高兴与各位朋友相聚上海，共话中国梦。上海毗邻长江、面向大海，是中国接触世界的前沿，也是世界感知中国的窗口。在这里举办中国梦研讨会，具有特别的意义。首先，我代表国务院新闻办公室，向各位来宾表示诚挚欢迎！对远道而来的各国嘉宾表示衷心感谢！
去年11月，中国共产党第十八次全国代表大会闭幕不久，习近平主席在参观《复兴之路》展览时，第一次提出实现中国梦；今年3月，习近平主席在第十二届全国人民代表大会第一次会议闭幕时的讲话中对中国梦作了系统阐释。此后，习近平主席在不同场合多次论述了中国梦。他强调，实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦，就是要实现国家富强、民族振兴、人民幸福。国家好，民族好，大家才会好。他强调，中国梦归根到底是人民的梦。我们要实现的中国梦，就是让人民有更好的教育、更稳定的工作、更满意的收入、更可靠的社会保障、更高水平的医疗服务、更舒适的居住条件、更优美的环境，让孩子们成长得更好、工作得更好、生活得更好。他强调，生活在我们伟大祖国和伟大时代的中国人民，共同享有人生出彩的机会，共同享有梦想成真的机会，共同享有同祖国和时代一起成长与进步的机会。他还强调，中国梦是和平、发展、合作、共赢的梦，与世界各国人民的美好梦想相通，不仅造福中国人民，而且造福世界人民。习近平主席的这些重要论述，阐明了中国梦的基本内涵。
八天前，我们在北京召开了一个座谈会，请一些普通民众畅谈对中国梦的理解。来自江苏常州的装修工人贺先生说，“习近平主席提出中国梦，我们感到有奔头，可以大胆地设计自己的梦了。这个梦是中国的，也是我们每个人自己的”。农民工陶先生说，“习近平主席提出的中国梦，盼得到，摸得着，我们对儿女的教育有了更多期待，对老有所养有了更多安心，中国梦离我们很近”。中国政法大学一位研究生说，“提出中国梦，是向世界宣示了中国正在崛起的信息，我们倍感自豪，学习有了更大劲头，未来必将属于我们年轻人”。一位清华大学的学生说，“中国梦的提出，避免了我们行动的盲目，我们为什么、该做什么，都有了明确方向，心里很踏实，因为习主席已经告诉人们该如何奋斗”。我相信，像这些农民工和大学生一样，每个中国人都对中国梦有自己的理解和期待。在互联网上以“中国梦”为关键词，利用百度搜索引擎，可以搜索出相关文章1亿多篇。
中国广大民众的上述反应，说明习近平主席提出的中国梦，已在中国人民心中引起强烈共鸣，成为全社会热议的话题。为什么中国梦能够引起如此强烈共鸣呢？
中国梦引起强烈共鸣，反映了亿万中国人民的美好憧憬。中华民族是一个伟大的民族，创造了辉煌灿烂的中华文明，但也经历了不少的磨难。从19世纪40年代至20世纪40年代，在整整一个世纪时间里，屡遭世界列强入侵，中华民族遭受的苦难之重、付出的牺牲之大，世所罕见。磨难使中国人懂得了一个道理，就是“落后就要挨打”；形成了一个共同理想，就是“振兴中华”。从那个时候起，寻求民族复兴之路，就成了中华儿女不懈追求的梦想。在中国共产党的领导下，中国人民经过顽强奋斗，建立了新中国，中国人民从此站起来了。经过60多年的社会主义建设和改革开放，现在中国又站在了一个新的历史起点上。习近平主席提出实现中国梦，开启了中华民族新世纪的筑梦工程，使中国人民对美好生活的向往、对民族振兴的渴望被空前激发起来。
中国梦引起强烈共鸣，来自人民对实现中国梦的坚定信心。今年6月，广东省省情调查中心所做的调查显示，绝大多数受访者对中国梦表示认可和乐观，认为中国梦能够实现的高达89.4%。人们对中国梦充满信心，是因为我们找到了通往梦想的正确道路，这就是中国特色社会主义道路。这条道路蕴含着中国改革开放30多年伟大实践、新中国60多年持续探索，近代中国170多年历史经验、中华民族5000多年文明传承，具有深厚的历史渊源和广泛的现实基础。沿着这条道路，改革开放35年来，我国经济总量增长142倍，城镇居民收入增加71倍，人民生活得到极大改善，综合国力不断增强。现在，我们比以往任何时候都更加接近梦想、接近目标。这使人们坚信，只要我们坚定不移地走中国特色社会主义道路，与时俱进地拓展这条道路，中国梦就一定能够实现，中国的未来一定会更加美好。
中国梦引起强烈共鸣，来自人民对新一届中央领导集体的拥护和信任。回顾十八大以来的一年间，以习近平同志为总书记的中共中央，不为任何干扰所惑，不为任何困难所惧，驾驭复杂局面、推动科学发展，国家各项工作呈现出新局面、新风气、新进展。中共中央作出八项规定，深入持久地开展反腐败斗争，在党内开展群众路线教育实践活动，引领了干部清正、政府清廉、政治清明的党风政风。新一届中央领导集体推进国家治理体系和治理能力现代化的努力，使中国社会生活正在发生深刻变化，进一步增添了中国人民对实现中国梦的信心。
女士们、先生们：
人民对民族复兴的期盼，对美好生活的向往，对人生出彩的渴望，使中国梦产生了巨大的凝聚力和感召力。中国梦提出一年来，已经在现实生活中发挥出巨大的正能量。
中国梦大大激发了人们的奋斗意志。“世事沧桑心事定，胸中海岳梦中飞。”中国梦勾勒出中华民族伟大复兴的蓝图， 激发了人们前所未有的民族自信心和自豪感，激励着人们为过上美好生活而不懈奋斗。在中国梦激励下，越来越多的人们规划并追逐着自己的求学梦、创业梦、安居梦、致富梦，与祖国分享人生出彩的机会，分享梦想成真的机会。人们坚信，只要付出辛勤劳动和艰苦努力，任何梦想都能够实现。
中国梦形成了推动深化改革的巨大力量。前不久召开的中国共产党十八届三中全会，通过《关于全面深化改革若干重大问题的决定》，提出了全面深化改革的总体方案，回应了广大人民的关切和诉求，改革涉及面之广、触及问题之深，前所未有，人们用“喜大普奔”来表达对《决定》的支持。决定要求全面深化改革的各项任务到2020年完成，这与我国全面建成小康社会的奋斗目标是同一个时间节点。在全面深化改革的问题上能够形成如此广泛的共识，就是因为全面深化改革的各项措施都聚焦于实现中国梦的目标，并为实现中国梦提供动力保障。可以说，改革之路，是中华民族复兴之路，是中国人民奔梦圆梦之路；坚定不移走这条道路，我们就能够一步一步地接近目标、实现梦想。
中国梦使中国共产党人更加认清了肩负的历史责任。全心全意为人民服务是中国共产党的根本宗旨，国家富强、民族振兴、人民幸福是中国共产党的奋斗目标。习近平主席提出的中国梦，把党的执政活动与中国各族人民的根本利益紧紧联系在一起，把党的前途命运与中华民族伟大复兴的历史进程紧紧联系在一起。为加强党的自身建设，中国共产党自上而下开展群众路线教育实践活动，克服党内存在的形式主义、官僚主义、享乐主义和奢靡之风，消除党面临的精神懈怠危险、能力不足危险、脱离群众危险、消极腐败危险，进一步密切了党同人民群众的血肉联系。通过开展一系列整风肃纪行动，广大党员为人民群众谋利益的自觉性和责任感明显增强，党在人民群众中的感召力明显增强，党的执政能力明显增强。
