　　黄旭华，男，87岁，中国第一代核动力潜艇研制创始人之一，被誉为“中国核潜艇之父”。

　　1958年，我国批准核潜艇工程立项。那时中苏关系尚处于蜜月期，依靠苏联提供部分技术资料，是当初考虑的措施之一。1959年，苏联提出中断对中国若干重要项目的援助，对中国施加压力。毛泽东听后发誓：“核潜艇——一万年也要搞出来”。曾有过几年仿制苏式常规潜艇经历又毕业于上海交大造船系的黄旭华被选中参研。

　　30多年中，8个兄弟姐妹都不知道黄旭华搞核潜艇，父亲临终时也不知他是干什么的，母亲从63岁盼到93岁才见到儿子一面。

　　核潜艇是集核电站、导弹发射场和海底城市于一体的尖端工程。中国的核潜艇研制工作是从一个核潜艇玩具模型一步一步开始的。

　　为研制核潜艇，新婚不久的黄旭华告别妻子来到试验基地。后来他把家安在了小岛上。为了艇上千万台设备，上百公里长的电缆、管道，他要联络全国24个省市的2000多家科研单位，工程复杂。那时没有计算机，他和同事用算盘和计算尺演算出成千上万个数据。

　　1964年，黄旭华终于带领团队研制出我国第一艘核潜艇。使中国成为世界上第五个拥有核潜艇的国家。

　　1988年，核潜艇按设计极限在南海作深潜试验。黄旭华亲自下潜300米，是世界上核潜艇总设计师亲自下水做深潜试验的第一人。

　　黄旭华曾先后多次获得国家科学技术进步特等奖，全国科学大会奖等，为国防事业、为我国核潜艇事业的发展做出了重要贡献。
