中新网神农架12月8日电 (董晓斌 罗永斌)在美丽神秘的“华中屋脊”神农架，来自国内的旅游机构、户外俱乐部、媒体记者及神农架周边县市滑雪爱好者等，12月7日来到神农架大龙潭，探访了中国特有的珍稀灵长类动物金丝猴。
在海拔2150米的神农架大龙潭金丝猴研究基地，因海拔较高，该基地已被冰雪覆盖。神农架生态旅游区一位工作人员表示，这个研究基地设有一个监测点，长期跟踪监测金丝猴的活动。
沿着一道木质长廊前行100余米后，一群十分活泼热闹的金丝猴就映入了眼帘。记者粗略数了一下，有近30余只金丝猴在四处玩耍。有的在树上跳跃“表演”攀爬技术，有的正摆着POSS和人群“合影”，但更多金丝猴都远离人群和族群家长在一起。
据了解，神农架金丝猴主要分布在大龙潭、千家坪、金猴岭三处。其中大龙潭有两个族群，最大的一个有140多只，最小的一个有80多只，就是目前这个金丝猴研究基地的族群。而在神农架所有金丝猴族群中，也唯独这个族群敢与人类接触。
金丝猴是中国特有的珍稀动物，神农架金丝猴属于川金丝猴，是分布于中国最东端的孤立群种。其毛色金黄柔软，气质典雅，性情温和，深受人们喜爱，是中国最具代表性的野生动物之一。目前，由于生态环境不断改善和多方努力，神农架金丝猴数量已经从最少时的500多只已经增加到了1400多只。(完)
