2013 of the EU recently released industry research and development 50 list shows, Chinese telecom equipment manufacturer Huawei to nearly 3.5 billion euros in research and development spending is ranked 31st. Displays the list, last year's second runner up, Germany automaker Volkswagen won the Laurel, approximately 9.5 billion euros in research and development this year.
Korea's Samsung Electronics ranked second, spending on research and development is about 8.3 billion euros. 欧盟近日公布的2013年各行业研发资金50强榜单显示，中国电信设备厂商华为以接近35亿欧元的研发支出位列第31位。榜单显示，去年的季军、德国汽车制造商大众汽车摘得桂冠，今年的研发资金总额约为95亿欧元。
韩国的三星电子排名第二，研发支出约为83亿欧元。美国的微软公司位居第三，研发支出略低于80亿欧元。排名4至10位的公司分别为：英特尔、丰田汽车、瑞士罗氏制药、瑞士诺华制药、生物技术公司默克集团、强生集团和美国辉瑞制药。华为是中国唯一一家上榜公司，以35亿欧元位居第31位。
值得注意的是，诺基亚位于22位，而苹果位于46位
