　　中新网汕头12月11日电(记者 李怡青) 广东汕头一工厂11日发生火灾，目前大火已被扑灭。记者采访了解，发生火灾现场过火面积约2000平方米，烧毁石蜡、纸箱和塑料等物品，未造成人员伤亡。

　　此次火灾事故发生于汕头市龙湖区新津路北侧与铁路东侧交界。

　　上午记者接报后第一时间赶赴现场，在现场看到浓烟滚滚，起火仓库不时冒出明火。附近工厂工人林先生接受记者采访时说，火灾大概是当天上午8时半发生，火势很大，浓烟呛人，期间还听到几阵爆炸声。

　　据消防人员介绍，11日上午9点07分接到消防报警，汕头消防立即调派龙湖、金平、濠江、澄海、特勤保障大队，8个中队，28台消防车、178名消防员赶赴现场进行扑救。赶到现场后，消防官兵首先切断工厂周边电源并关掉煤气主管道，同时龙湖警方大范围拉开警戒线，疏散周边群众。

　　消防人员称，该起火工厂内有大量易燃易爆物品，由于火势较大，厂里存放约有大量石蜡，石蜡受热融化后流至厂外路面，导致火势蔓延，情况危急。

　　火灾发生后，汕头龙湖区委、区政府高度重视，区委书记黄建固、区长王小辉作出指示，消防、安监及相关职能部门等迅速到场做好灭火救援、维持秩序等有关工作。经过扑救，11日上午10时40分火灾得到。控制，13时火灾基本扑灭。事故发生在汕头市中煌实业有限公司龙湖分公司，事故烧毁石蜡、纸箱和塑料等物品。

　　记者现场看到，工厂房屋已被烧得漆黑一片，墙体残破不堪，工厂周围路面覆盖着被烧至灰黑的石蜡残渣。
