　　2008年曾花5000万元搞截污

　　2008年，猎德涌进入第三轮治理，为了在亚运前能够让它变靓，那次猎德村截污工程总投入约花费5000多万元，截污重心放在解决水质上，河涌两岸综合整治约花费1亿元。

　　据当年媒体报道，这次治理由广州市水投集团、广州市污水治理公司挑起“重任”。这次新建的管道直径比旧管道的直径大了两倍多，过水能力提升了四倍以上。该公司又对猎德涌西侧部分雨污分流管道混接错接的情况进行了改造，避免污水通过雨水口排进猎德涌。

　　2010年完工：污水管道是有余量的

　　广州市污水治理有限责任公司副总经理杨建基当年在接受采访时，对于猎德涌改造后的预期效果曾表示：“通过这一次建设，猎德涌沿线的污水管道输送能力是有余量的，如果今后污水增，我们还可以通过污水泵站扩容，增加污水的提升量送到污水厂，猎德涌片区的污水管线应对5年的发展应该是没有问题的。”

　　2013年再花1.4亿元改造

　　再次出手为猎德涌进行截污，由天河区建设与水务局来实施。“我们清查源头发现，附近一些小区当年在接管的时候，把雨水排水管及污水排水管错接，将污水排进涌中。”据相关负责人透露，居民区雨水管和污水管混接仍是河涌被污染的主要原因之一，该局日前正在实施的猎德涌(花城大道至涌口段)升级改造工程，正是希望从源头解决问题。

　　经过广州市建设工程交易中心组织招标，工程中标总价为1.41381亿元。据相关人士透露，猎德涌底原来直径仅有1米的排水管，已不能应对珠江新城核心区等猎德涌流域工作、居住人口不断增加带来的生活污水。因此在这次改造中，新建的管道已全部为直径1.5米的管网。
