　　《全国年节及纪念日放假办法》于1949年12月23日由原政务院第一次发布，分别经历了1999年9月、2007年12月和2013年12月的3次修改。春节3天假期经历了“初一、初二、初三”到“除夕、初一、初二”又回到“初一、初二、初三”的过程，其中除夕被纳入春节假期为2007年12月那次修改，从2008年至2013年共实行了6年，将于2014年起被废止。
