今年，检察机关严惩损害民生民利违法犯罪。深入开展危害民生刑事犯罪专项立案监督活动，建议行政执法机关移交和监督立案45起，批捕生产销售有毒有害食品等犯罪21人。围绕解决发生在群众身边的腐败问题，依法查办涉农、食品药品和公共投资领域职务犯罪179人。
针对群众反映强烈的农机补贴发放不到位问题，严肃查处莱阳市农机局原副局长赵东瑞等28起贪污挪用农机补贴案件，涉案金额400余万元，追回款全部返还群众。为促进解决群众看病贵、看病难问题，依法查处市城镇职工医保处原主任孙振田、福山区医院原院长史春生等医疗医保系统人员贪污受贿、失职渎职案件51人。
查处职务犯罪嫌疑人229人
市检察院副检察长李栋梁介绍，今年，全市检察机关依法加大了查办和预防职务犯罪力度，共立查各类职务犯罪嫌疑人229人，其中大要案189人，县处级干部12人，科级干部52人；已起诉219人，法院已作有罪判决158人，其中实刑判决70人，起诉率、有罪判决率、实刑判决率同比分别提高19.7、3.4和4个百分点。
依法立案查处了山东大众报业集团原副总经理兼齐鲁晚报·生活日报社原社长梁洪文、海阳市人大原副主任于乐文、牟平区公安局原局长王国政、龙口市国土局原局长吕绍永、莱州市科技局原局长刘宏等一批严重腐败分子。
