　　记者了解，深圳光明新区荣健农批农贸市场是于2007年8月由21栋厂房改建而成，总占地面积15万平方米，建筑面积9万平方米，是深圳市第二大农贸批发市场。市场按交易品类分为六大区域，现已有商铺1600多家，其中水果、蔬菜商铺超1000家。市场经营涵盖水果、农副产品等共20大类，5000多个品种。

　　荣建农批市场属于农批、水果、小档口三合一的市场，而这样的市场是不允许住人的，但事发活在的档铺均处于市场A区，涉及到22个档铺。据现场档主反映，市场是不允许住人，但是由于这些是老档主，市场管理处管不了，就一直这么住着。

　　深圳公明街道党工委书记、办事处主任郭峰介绍，现在正在对市场的资料进行调取和核查。目前并没有掌握是否存在违章建筑。今年7月，该市场曾有2处违章建筑被清拆。

　　在今天下午2点钟左右，记者发现大约有近百人在现场聚集，他们绝大数是该市场档主。其中一位告诉记者，这次火灾大约有22个档口被烧毁，火灾现场也导致其附近100个档口被封闭不允许进入。档主说每个档主都有保险柜，里面有大量现金。目前市场管理处没有人给任何说法，现场也找不到市场管理处的负责人，看到现场大伙已经扑灭，现场清理差不多，但就是没有人告知什么时候他们可以回去处理自己的档口，以减少他们的损失。
