　　目击者称，起火点位于荣健农批市场水果售卖区，一开始着火的只有两三家店铺。但现场消防设施匮乏，火势无法得到控制，消防车赶到现场时，已有十几家店铺着火。由于消防通道被其他车辆占用，消防车无法近距离救援。此外，市场内消防栓没水，消防车需从远处补水。

　　曾有媒体报道，该农批有不少违建，相关部门曾拆除，但一直没拆完；过火20多间店铺，死亡人员都在其中四间里面。

　　今天中午，深圳市光明新区召开“12.11”火灾事故新闻发布会，发布会现场有记者反映着火点东部或存在消防栓水压不足、未达到要求射程的情况。官方回应称已安排工作人员调查市场是否为违建，及消防手续是否齐全。

　　根据官方通报，广东省已成立了调查工作小组对事故原因展开调查，荣健农批市场许姓老板已经被控制。
