  新华网南京12月11日电(记者 邓华宁)10日,世界最大直径单管双层公路隧道——扬州瘦西湖隧道顺利贯通。隧道下穿素有“园林之盛,甲于天下”美誉的瘦西湖风景区核心区段,全长3.6公里,设计为单管双层双向四车道。


  据悉,该隧道是扬州城建史上单项投资最大的工程。其中,主体隧道段长1.2公里,设计速度为60公里/小时,采用单管双层方案,上下层各布置两条车道,直径为14.5米,项目总投资为20多亿元,预计建设工期32个月。2012年12月28日,“瘦西湖号”大型盾构机开始下井作业。10日,“瘦西湖号”盾构机将钻完最后一环,到达湖西接受井,瘦西湖隧道盾构段全部贯通。


  施工单位中国铁建十四局集团瘦西湖隧道项目负责人介绍,隧道主体盾构段采用14.93米的世界超大直径泥水平衡盾构机施工,要穿越长达1200多米的全断面硬塑粘土地层。这一隧道攻克了全断面硬塑粘土地层等世界性盾构施工难题,多项技术达到国际领先水平。


  据介绍,隧道施工过程中十分注重环境保护。开工之初,对盾构机泥水分离设备进行改造升级,使泥浆和渣土分离,不仅确保瘦西湖水质不受污染,还将本可废弃的泥土和水资源循环利用。同时,将地表隆起和沉降的幅度控制在10毫米和30毫米的设计允许范围之内,有效保护了国家5A级风景名胜区的自然景观和文化古迹。


  瘦西湖隧道预计明年9月建成通车,届时从湖东到湖西只要3分钟时间,大大缓解景区交通压力。
