　　新华网乌鲁木齐12月11日电 (徐丽 张雪红)为支持重点行业和部分地区发展高等职业教育，眼下新疆正在筹建4所高校，以便为当地经济和社会发展提供人才支撑。

　　据新疆维吾尔自治区教育厅规划处相关负责人介绍，按照规划，“十二五”末，新疆将支持重点行业和部分地区发展高等职业教育，适时在有需求且具备条件的地(州、市)规划建设一所高等职业技术学院。目前，新疆生产建设兵团申请设置的兵团兴新职业技术学院已获批准，哈密职业技术学院也正在筹建。为加快喀什经济开发区建设和把克拉玛依市打造成世界石油城，新疆还向国家申请筹建两所本科院校，这两所院校分别是喀什大学和克拉玛依理工学院。

　　据了解，喀什大学是在喀什师范学院的基础上筹建的，目前新疆教育部门已组织专家指导、帮助学校完成了校园建设、师资队伍建设、学科专业建设等规划。克拉玛依市则联合中国石油大学，共同申请筹建克拉玛依理工学院。
