Japan accused Chinese naval activity an ulterior political purpose

People's daily news December 11, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, chaired today, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei at a regular press conference that China has always advocated and was committed to settle territorial maritime disputes through dialogue and consultations. Answer: China's adherence to the path of peaceful development, pursues a defensive national defense policy. 　　问：据报道，日本首相安倍晋三设立的专家会议今日审议通过了政府制定的“国家安全保障战略”和“新防卫大纲”概要，提出日方将“冷静坚决应对中国不断扩张的海空活动”，并就钓鱼岛问题在日本西南方向加强军力。中方对此有何评论？

　　答：中国坚持走和平发展道路，奉行防御性国防政策。中国发展正常和正当的国防能力不对任何国家构成威胁。中国一贯主张并致力于通过对话磋商解决领土海洋争端。同时，决不允许任何国家侵犯中国领土主权。

　　中方正密切注视日本的安全战略和有关政策动向。日方对中方正常的海空活动无理指责，渲染“中国威胁”，有着不可告人的政治目的。我们敦促日方重视亚洲邻国的安全关切，顺应时代潮流，走和平发展道路，为改善中日关系、维护地区和平稳定作出应有努力。
