据国外Variety资讯报道，据微软公司的游戏数码部门总监Nancy Tellem介绍，微软预计在2014年年初为Xbox One举办首场原创电视节目，进一步扩大Xbox One的影响力和市场份额，同时可能带来Halo游戏新作以及未来的新CEO人选。
目前该电视节目秀的主要内容聚焦在"best on Xbox or only on Xbox" 话题上，暂时不清楚在首轮节目秀上是否展示微软的Halo游戏新作。
Tellem同时也表示，当谈到电视节目方面，微软也在努力去完善和争取，无论是采用多任务还是以命令符的操作方式，这次微软电视秀的目标不是去重新定义电视节目的体验，而是去继续演变。如果Xbox Video视频服务很早就被用户知晓的话，那么微软现在也和亚马逊、Hulu那样的公司开始提供在线收费的流媒体服务了。
除此之外，在明年的电视节目上，微软新CEO也将首秀，揭开真正的人选。
