这十大事件包括；
一、盲人并非“玻璃心”——多地视障人抗议必胜客虾球广告。2013年6月4日至5日，石家庄、青岛、广州，北京等多地视障人到当地必胜客餐厅门口进行抗议活动。抗议必胜客此前在中国各大视频网站投放的一则“虾球”广告。广告中，屏幕下方配上字幕“因为它是虾(瞎)球”。
二、别让监狱成为残障人最好的归宿——冀中星首都机场爆炸案。2013年7月20日18时24分，来自山东省菏泽市鄄城县富春乡大冀庄村的残障人冀中星在北京首都机场T3航站楼B出口外引爆自制爆炸装置，造成本人受伤，现场无其他人员伤亡，机场航班起降未受影响。

十、被逼成宠物犬的导盲犬——视障人陈燕积极争取导盲犬通行权。2013年2月25日，视障人陈燕在微博上求助：还没有导盲犬去过海南，不知这次当地是否接受导盲犬进入公共场合，此外，每次带“珍妮”坐飞机都要办检疫证明，她也不知道海南在哪里可以办理，希望得到帮助。海南网友们看到微博后纷纷转发，并为其提供帮助。最终促成陈燕和导盲犬的海南之行。(完)
