Beijing gang posing as workers stolen dig site in Tomb Raider and 14 criminal detention

　　11月30日一早，北京市公安局海淀分局接到辖区一施工工地报警，一伙不明身份的人员在前一晚工地停止施工后，携带工具私自进入工地四处乱挖，好像在寻找什么东西。警方在调查中了解到，这处工地的地下可能有古代墓葬的存在。

　　警方随后展开秘密蹲守和跟踪。12月1日晚，这伙人再次来到这个工地，他们头戴安全帽，手拿寻找墓葬使用的探针，以及铁锹等工具，分散进入工地。经过近一夜的观察，警方确定这伙人有重大作案嫌疑，随后将14名犯罪嫌疑人全部抓获。

　　在嫌疑人的车里，警方发现了古代银簪、铜币、石墩等物品，以及探针等作案工具。

　　据交代，这14名犯罪嫌疑人都是老乡，一起在北京打工。他们自己制作探针，并购买了安全帽、铁锹等作案工具后，紧盯各个施工工地，只要发现可能有古墓的存在，就在夜间冒充施工人员进入工地盗掘。

　　经文物部门考古踏勘，确定抓获嫌疑人的工地内的确有4处古墓，文物部门已展开保护和考古工作。

　　目前，14名犯罪嫌疑人因涉嫌盗掘古墓葬罪已经被警方刑事拘留。
