据江门市蓬江区消防大队特勤二中队的装备技师刘河生介绍，该机重5．6公斤，遥控距离为1200米，飞行高度可达1000米，飞行速度可达60公里／小时，最长悬停时间为30分钟，可运载3公斤的物品飞行，且具备自动返航功能。机身内带有ＧＰＳ组件及可自动扭动的摄像头，可拍摄1200万像素的静态图片和4096×2160分辨率的超高清视频。

李建认为，除了救火外，这类侦察机在其他抢险救灾中也能起到大作用。例如，在对居于高层的人员进行营救时，可用这类侦察机输送救生绳。在洪涝灾害中，也可用这类侦察机搜救被困人员。
