记者了解到，从14日上午8点到15日上午7点，万城地区最大降雨量达到510毫米。根据预报，万城及周边地区的降雨还将持续。目前，万城地区的邮电新村到万都、中央坡北坡农场路口、第二市场、医院、纵一路、迎宾路、大茂新市场以及东澳市墟和风豪桥等地方出现严重积水，交通被水阻断。
目前，万宁已经派出200多名警力对各积水路口设置警戒线、安全堆和引导交通，安排三辆拯救车进行车辆救助，安排巡逻车在市区及省道和国道进行引导交通。
