经官渡警方调查查明，2013年12月8日，小板桥派出所接群众报警称，有人在超市使用百元假钞兑换零钱，当事双方发生纠纷。因当天正值小板桥赶集交通十分拥堵，出警车无法及时到达现场，接警后，派出所值班室指令离事发地最近的治安执勤点协警先期前往控制事态。二名协警到达事发地点及时劝阻当时双方并要求到执勤点处理，张某某不予配合并与二名协警发生拉扯和肢体冲突，期间，协警余某某持械打伤张某某。事后，伤者张某某已得到妥善医治，经鉴定，张某某伤情为轻微伤。

12月13日，经调查取证，根据《中华人民共和国治安管理处罚法》的有关规定，官渡分局已对协警余某某给予治安拘留处罚。依照有关规定对协警余某某、李某某给予开除，对小板桥派出所责任领导及民警进行问责处理。
据了解，被打的张某某系昆明理工大学大一学生张良斌。事发当日，他在昆明官渡区小板桥一家超市做兼职销售方便面时，与人因串换零钱发生纠纷，报警后竟被小板桥派出所警务亭3名身穿制服的执勤人员打伤，张良斌被带到执勤点办公室后，3人让他双手抱头蹲在地上，继续用钢管打他的背和脚。云南省第一人民医院司法鉴定中心出具的司法鉴定书显示，张良斌为轻微伤。
