　　在纪念馆集会广场上，仪式在庄严的国歌声中开始，拉响警报、默哀、敬献花圈……全体人员深切悼念遇难同胞。

　　南京莫愁中等专业学校400多名学生也参加了当天的集会。一年级新生吴丽娟说，在这个特殊的日子里，她与同学们心情都异常沉重，一定要牢记这段历史。

　　当天，南京市民还分别在普德寺、北极阁、燕子矶、中山码头、五台山、草鞋巷等侵华日军南京大屠杀遇难同胞纪念碑所在地设立分会场，举行悼念活动。
