据陕西省委组织部副部长、陕西省委党的群众路线教育实践活动领导小组办公室副主任田晓东介绍，目前，陕西省委常委会制定的26项整改措施正在推进过程中，其中一些专项治理工作已取得阶段性成效。
陕西陕西省委常委班子高度重视 带头落实整改
据田晓东介绍，陕西省委对全省党的群众路线教育实践活动整改工作高度重视，强力推动，严格按照中央精神和习近平总书记强调的“教育实践活动越往后，越要坚持标准”的重要指示，把整改工作列入常委会重要议事日程，以上率下，带头整改。

陕西省委常委在文件的审批、内容、篇幅等方面提出了严格要求，将陕西省委、省政府印发文件的字数控制在2500到4000字之间；此外，还对简报及内部刊物的种类、渠道、内容提出了明确要求：各部门各单位内部编印下发的简报和刊物，原则上各保留一种，并报陕西省委办公厅秘书处备案编号，实行注册许可制度。
据高新民介绍，截至2013年11月底，以陕西省委名义召开或以陕西省委办公厅名义下发通知的会议，会期减少2天半、参会减少1006人次；各部门各单位报送陕西省委的简报和内部刊物，已经先后精简了111种和51种，陕西省委文件同比减少35%。
腾退办公用房1666间 处置违规超标用车2927辆
发布会上，陕西省机关事务管理局副局长王宏生就停止新建楼堂馆所、清理办公用房和公务用车管理工作进行了情况通报。据悉，目前全省37个新建楼堂馆所已全部停建；2013年3月以来全省开工的维修改造项目共13个，均为正常申报、审批的维修项目，无违规改建、扩建等问题；全省没有用财政资金维修改造培训中心和具有接待功能的场所。
整改期间，各级机关及直属事业单位腾退办公用房1666间、3.98万平方米。其中，市县区1602间、3.83万平方米，省直部门和单位64间、1544平方米。

此外，陕西省人民政府也出台了关于深化行政审批制度改革、推进简政放权工作的实施意见，将进一步减少投资项目审批、减少生产经营活动审批事项、减少行政事业性收费、减少资质许可，并逐步改革工商登记制度，将“先证后照”改为“先照后证”，并将注册资本实缴等级制度改为认缴登记制，放宽工商登记其他条件。
据史丰有介绍，下一步，陕西省编办将继续落实陕西省委常委班子党的群众路线教育实践活动整改方案，进一步理顺政府与市场、政府与社会的关系，减少政府对微观经济活动的直接干预，重点解决部门权界不清晰、职能配置不科学、审批流程不规范、审批行为不透明、监督管理不到位等问题，进一步提高行政审批效率。
