12日，记者从泰安市中级人民法院官方微博获悉，泰安中院近日对青岛市委政法委原常务副书记王延球受贿、纵容黑社会性质组织案作出二审裁定，驳回上诉，维持原判有期徒刑十五年，并处没收财产20万元，违法所得198万余元予以追缴，上缴国库的判决。
2013年6月4日，泰安市岱岳区法院对王延球受贿、纵容黑社会性质组织一案作出一审判决，以受贿罪判处王延球有期徒刑十三年，并处没收财产20万元，以纵容黑社会性质组织罪判处王延球有期徒刑三年，决定执行有期徒刑十五年，并处没收财产20万元，违法所得198万余元予以追缴，上缴国库。宣判后，被告人王延球不服，向泰安市中级人民法院提出上诉。
泰安中院二审审理认为，上诉人王延球身为国家工作人员，利用职务上的便利，索取或者非法收受他人财物，为他人谋取利益，其行为构成受贿罪；上诉人王延球担任青岛市公安局副局长以及政法委员会副书记、综治办主任期间，负有查处、打击黄赌毒工作职责，却长期纵容聂磊黑社会性质组织进行违法犯罪活动，其行为构成纵容黑社会性质组织罪。原审判决认定事实清楚，定罪准确，量刑适当。遂依法作出上述裁定。(记者侯峰)
