  题材


  中国文化中在国际上有一定知晓度,却又不甚明了的内容最受欢迎


  渠道打通了,如何生产出优质且容易出口的纪录片,题材就显得至关重要。正如本届纪录片节“金红棉奖”评委、中央电视台副台长金越所言,“内容是第一,技术是第二。”不少参展者反映,与外国纪录片人常常走出国门拍摄国际题材不同,对于中国国产纪录片来说,国际买家往往希望它们更“土”一点,越来越多外国人对中国本土文化和民族传统十分感兴趣。


  在本届纪录片节高峰论坛上,国家新闻出版广电总局国际合作司司长马黎透露,随着中国国际影响力的日益增强,海外受众越来越关注中国,越来越多的中国纪录片进入国际市场,据不完全统计,2012年中国纪录片出口约173万美元。

  中央电视台总编辑罗明认为,“国产纪录片要做出自己的特色,就必须传递中国的历史传统、时代风貌和价值理念,这是中国纪录片的核心竞争力。”因此,《舌尖上的中国》策划之初,就决定不仅要展示中国的美食,还要融入更多深层次的中国文化元素,比如人际关系、对故土的眷恋,甚至中国人的勤奋、节俭等特点在片中都有所表现。


  五洲传播公司成立于1994年,长期致力于中国内容的国际传播,从2003年起,逐渐摸索出一条把中国故事带向世界的路径。“在过去的十年间,我们与来自20多个国家的40多家电视媒体、制作人合作,把200多个小时中国题材的纪录片传播到200多个国家和地区。”五洲影视传播中心国际部主任王媛媛表示,“我们做纪录片的经验,首先就是突出中国特色,要选择中国独有的文化现象,那些在国际上有一定知晓度却又不甚明了,或者我们有新的发现或新的视角的选题。

  记者了解到,国外观众看到的中国纪录片,大多都经过了“改编”和“包装”。例如12集的《故宫》输出到欧美之后被剪辑成两集,原本为5集的《外滩》、《春晚》,输出海外后也都被剪得只剩1集,而这些调整都很必要。《舌尖上的中国》总导演陈晓卿介绍,在剪辑以外国观众为对象的纪录片时,央视纪录频道有一个规定:先请频道的外国顾问看,凡是他们看不懂的地方一律剪掉。


  中国国际电视总公司节目代理部国际部副主任王欣说:“前些年,我们的一些纪录片对于海外观众来讲确实看不懂。”罗明对此表示赞同。他认为,国产纪录片应更多地强调中华文化的世界性和生命力,善于用国际化的表达,来讲好中国故事。在选题策划阶段就应当明确在国际市场上的定位,“过去有什么故事就说什么故事,现在要逐步转变为,国内外观众和市场需要什么故事,我们便说什么故事,以此增强国产纪录片的国际市场适应性。”


  广州国际纪录片节的国际培训项目之一“纪录片诊所——DOCROADS纪录片国际培训作品分享会”就对症下药,以适应不断发展的国际纪录片行业对专业人员的需求。


  此前的14天,来自中央电视台科教频道和广东省各电视台的20名制作人分成两个团队,围绕同一个主题拍摄出两部截然不同的作品。分享会上,来自欧盟各国的7位大师担任导师,对两部作品作出了评价。导师约恩说:“短短14天,两组完全陌生的人组成团队,针对同一个主题进行创作,是非常不平凡的。”中国纪录片若想走出国门、与国际合作,就必须与来自不同地区甚至不同国家和文化背景的专业人员进行合作。因此,他认为这次合作意义非凡、影响深远。
