综合新华社电 外交部发言人洪磊12日在北京表示，外交部和驻菲律宾使馆将继续跟踪菲律宾移民局抓扣中国公民事件形势发展，敦促菲方尽快妥善处理。
洪磊说，外交部已指示驻菲律宾使馆启动应急机制处置。驻菲使馆迅速核实了解情况并向菲移民局提出交涉。菲方表示，查扣行动针对所有非法居留外侨，并非只针对中国公民，此次行动中也有多名其他国家公民被捕。
他说，外交部和驻菲律宾使馆将继续跟踪形势发展，敦促菲方尽快妥善处理。
