　　新华网贵阳12月16日电(记者胡星) 贵州毕节市七星关区13日发生的致5名儿童死亡、2人受伤的交通事故原因已初步查明，目前肇事司机已被采取刑事强制措施。

　　记者16日从七星关区有关部门了解到，肇事车辆为七星关区海子街镇政府用于运送沼渣、沼液的车辆。13日事发时，当地雨天路滑，驾驶员刘昌达(持B1驾驶执照)操作不当，导致车辆失控冲向人群，侧翻至十几米深沟，造成5名儿童死亡、2人受伤。

　　目前，当地公安机关已对肇事司机采取刑事强制措施。对该车未挂车牌问题，相关部门已介入调查。
