张毅在中石油的会上指出，对蒋洁敏、王永春等人的组织调查体现了党中央惩治腐败的决心，彰显了“有腐必惩、有贪必肃”的鲜明态度。蒋洁敏、王永春等人的问题是其个人问题，党中央充分肯定中石油广大干部职工队伍及为国家做出的突出贡献。

短期内可能有三个任务需要完成
当成为国资委第四任掌门人之后，短期内或许有三大任务摆在这位国资新掌门面前需要尽快完成。
第一项可能是尽快落实三中全会对于国资改革的要求，拿出落实的方案。三中全会提出了国有资产改革领域的一些新思路，比如变国有资产监管为国有资本监管，成立国有资本运营公司和国有资本投资公司等。但如何落实这些思路，目前从国资委到其所监管的中央企业都还暂时没有出台完全明确具体的操作政策。
但记者注意到，张毅此前在中央企业、地方国资委负责人研讨班上曾提出，要充分激发改革的内生动力，以更大的勇气和智慧突破体制机制瓶颈。要抓住影响企业发展的重点领域和关键环节，采取切实可行的措施，力争取得突破。
此前，国务院国资委已经在筹备出台《深化国有企业改革的指导意见》与《关于完善公有制实现形式的指导意见》两份改革文件。不过，知情人士对记者说，这两份文件被提出草拟的时间都在三中全会之前，目前正结合三中全会的新精神进行修订。由于整个12月只剩下不到半个月的时间，因此明年年初出台的可能性会更大。
第二项是紧抓今冬明春的安全生产工作，而今冬明春这一时段一般是以往企业安全事故容易多发时期。青岛发生管道爆炸事故后，搞好安全生产管理目前在中央企业内部显得十分紧迫。
根据国资委召开的中央企业安全生产和应急管理工作会议所透露的情况，当前中央企业生产安全事故呈现出如下特点，建筑施工企业生产安全事故依然突出，分包商事故多发，坍塌、爆炸和中毒窒息三种事故类型占有较大比重，少数企业同类事故重复发生，被兼并重组企业事故多发，一些行业事故增多等特点。
张毅此前在中央企业安全生产工作视频会议就对央企负责人明言，企业是安全生产的责任主体，主要负责人是安全生产的第一责任人；对发生生产安全责任事故的，坚决实行“一票否决”。
据记者了解，包括通讯、电力等行业在内的多家中央企业已经在内部开展了全系统安全检查。
第三项或许是在元旦、春节双节来临之际，让中央企业切实落实“八项规定”。
