通报称，警方接到报警后，箬横派出所民警迅速出警，事态得到了平息，并立即组织开展调查，公安机关将依法查处违法行为，切实维护正常的医疗秩序。
据钱江晚报报道，箬横镇中心卫院的医生在接受采访时表示，卫院被砸了两次，15日晚上一次，16日清早又是一次。在温岭警方的通报中，并未提到16日上述卫院被打砸的情况。
