据韩联社报道,韩国消费者纠纷调解委员会(以下简称:调解委)16日决定,对消费者在国外丢失手机后他人盗用产生的漫游服务费,相关通讯公司要减免50%。据调解委透露,一名韩国国民今年6月在海外出差时手机丢失,但并未及时办理使用限制等挂失业务,回国后发现账单上多出了600万韩元(约合人民币3.47万元)的漫游费。

调解委认为,这是相关移动通讯公司的疏忽,通讯公司有义务保护顾客的正当利益。

此外,对顾客USIM卡存在被盗用可能,而通讯公司并未事前告知顾客进行防范的话,通讯公司负主要责任。但考虑到消费者在手机丢失48小时后才申请暂时挂失,延误了挂失时间,因此调解委决定,移动通讯公司需承担50%的责任。

调解委相关负责人表示,如果手机在国外丢失,应立即通讯公司客服取得联系,进行挂失或办理使用限制,同时要尽快通过国内家人迅速解决问题。
