有关章子怡的博讯新闻报道乃基于匿名来源向博讯新闻所提供的资料，而该匿名来源并没有证明支持其报称的资料。博讯新闻在刊登该报道前并未有联络章子怡，让她能够对报道中不实内容作出回应。博讯新闻现在承认其报道没有根据及不当，以及承认章子怡从未被相关部门调查。另外，博讯新闻坚决否定有些报道指博讯不应该修改或撤回有关文章的观点，也坚决否定这些文章对章子怡任何指控的准确性。
