新华网利马12月17日电(记者贾安平)中国驻玻利维亚大使李东日前表示，中玻两国政治上互相信任，经济上多方互补，卫星技术合作已成亮点，双方进一步深化务实合作具有坚实基础。
应中国国家主席习近平邀请，玻利维亚总统莫拉莱斯将于12月19日至21日对中国进行国事访问。这是莫拉莱斯2006年就任总统以来对中国进行的首次国事访问。届时，玻利维亚首颗通讯卫星将在中国西昌发射，莫拉莱斯将到现场观摩。
李东说，中玻两国关系目前保持健康发展，双边合作近年来呈多元化趋势。首先是两国高层保持互访，政治、经济、领事等对话机制运行顺畅。其次是两国经贸和投资不断扩大。去年中玻双边贸易额达到6.8亿美元，今年1至8月已达5.16亿美元，同比增长18%。在玻销售的中国品牌汽车已达20多个，占据玻市场近三成份额，越来越多的中国国企和私企在玻投资兴业，为玻经济社会发展发挥了积极作用。
此外，两国人文交流日益密切。“汉语桥”世界大学生中文比赛在玻利维亚首次成功举办，玻利维亚学习汉语和赴华留学人数屡创新高，掀起了“汉语热”。福建画家书画展、中玻邮票展、中国文化周等一系列活动打造出两国文化交流的“火热季节”。
李东表示，两国在联合国、世界民航组织、世界海事组织等多边平台和机构中保持密切沟通与协作，共同为促进世界多极化进程和维护广大发展中国家利益作出努力。
李东说，中玻卫星合作项目是两国开展务实合作的亮点之一，也是近年来中玻关系深入发展的具体体现。两国卫星项目的实施将使玻人民受益，进一步推动两国友好关系的发展。
李东认为，中玻同属发展中国家，都面临着通过深化社会经济改革实现持续发展和提高人民福祉的任务。中玻发展关系基础坚实，势头良好，莫拉莱斯这次访华将促进两国关系的深入发展。
