Chinese response to Kerry’s position on the South China Sea in question： the countries concerned should speak

United States Secretary of State John Kerry a few days ago to visit Viet Nam, Philippines in the South China Sea during a high profile stance on the issue, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said at a regular press conference on December 18, the States concerned should adhere to the undertaking not to choose sides opening salvoes, circumspect.

Hua Chunying said that China has noticed the relevant position. China has always held that the relevant countries, through direct negotiations to solve the South China Sea. 　　就美国国务卿克里日前访问越南、菲律宾期间在南海问题上高调表态，外交部发言人华春莹在12月18日的例行记者会上表示，有关国家应恪守不选边站队的承诺，谨言慎行。

　　华春莹说，中方注意到有关表态。中方一贯主张由有关国家通过直接谈判解决南海问题。在“南海行为准则”问题上，中国和东盟国家一直保持顺畅、有效沟通。希望有关国家尊重中国和东盟国家为此所做的努力，恪守在南海问题上不选边站队的承诺，谨言慎行，多做有利于增进本地区国家间的相互信任，有利于维护本地区和平与稳定的事情，而不是相反。
