  新华网乌鲁木齐12月18日电(记者刘兵)经过两年时间勘探,新疆地矿局第二水文地质大队在新疆喀什周边发现两处大型优质地下水资源,可满足喀什未来发展成百万人口城市的供水规划和水质要求。


  据新疆地矿局第二水文工程地质大队高级工程师乃尉华介绍,自2012年起,地质大队承担了中国地质调查局关于喀什经济开发区水文地质环境的调查评价工作,在距离喀什市区西南约70公里的乌鲁阿特河流域、南70公里的库山河流域,发现概算日允许开采量30万立方米和12万立方米的地下水资源。


  乃尉华说,这两处地下水资源储量预计达到大型、特大型规模,不但符合国家饮用水标准,而且还是含锶型矿泉水,有望解决喀什市区及喀什国家级经济开发区未来城市缺水问题。


  喀什市地处新疆喀什噶尔三角洲平原中上部,是一座典型的沙漠绿洲城市,目前,全市人口55万,日用水20万立方米以上。喀什市国土资源局局长雷川表示,由于地质结构等原因,长期以来喀什使用的地下水存在硫酸盐、硬度、矿化物等水质指标超标问题。


  根据规划,到2020年,喀什市将发展成城区面积100平方公里、人口百万以上的中型城市,预计水质型缺水将达到每日12万方,解决水资源问题迫在眉睫。
