和平医院相关人士称，19日18时才是华泰公司通知的最后搬迁时间，但是19日刚到华泰公司就组织人员前来拆迁，据称，凌晨1时许，3辆钩机突然开进和平医院，对医院实施强制拆除，里面还有一些设备没有搬出。19日，南都记者前往和平医院旧址，看到这栋小高层建筑已轰然倒下。事件中令人奇怪的是，当日凌晨的拆迁本是和平医院和华泰公司两方面的事，但参与阻挠拆迁的并非和平医院的人，而是华泰小区内部的一些职工，大概十来人闻讯要拆迁和平医院时，他们连夜起来阻挠。
现场的目击者称，当时华泰公司的保安围成了人墙，但是部分职工想冲进去阻挠，保安出面制止，双方有小规模的肢体冲突，后来其中一个职工用砖头往保安头上砸去，头都被打爆了，派出所的民警随后前往处置，将双方带往派出所。华泰公司的负责人称，他们有几个保安受伤，而华泰公司内部阻挠的职工一方称，他们也有几个人受伤，不过，不是很严重。福田警方表示，只是小规模冲突，受伤情况正在统计中。
华泰收回产权名正言顺
昨日，华泰公司相关负责人对事件做出了回应称，和平医院是华泰公司的租户，福田区法院和深圳中院两级法院已经判决，12月17日是福田法院强制搬迁的最后截止时间，华泰收回产权名正言顺，而12月18日就是人员最后撤出的时间，虽然19日是通知的拆迁时间，但是考虑到和平医院此前多次言而无信，华泰害怕和平医院又反悔，所以提前行动，而且，如果白天拆迁的话，道路狭窄会引起周边交通混乱，所以拆迁安排在了凌晨，约4个小时。
华泰公司负责人称，华泰小区的改造方案共分两部分，一部分姓公，比如和平医院这些建筑的物业，属于华泰公司集体所有，而和平医院后面的小区姓“私”，实际上很多职工通过福利房的形式已经买下了这部分房产，但是又没有单个的房产证，只有华泰公司内部发的绿本房产证，他们担心华泰小区的整体改造不能确保自身的利益，准备做“钉子户”。因此当晚他们想冲进拆迁现场阻挠施工。
职工希望先办房产证再拆迁
昨日，华泰小区的职工代表陈先生告诉记者说，其实他们是支持旧改的，但自己拿的是华泰公司内部发的绿本房产证，到时候这些房子被拆了不知道找谁去要房子，担心会不会还让他们出钱买房。因此他们去信访也主要是为了提出要给他们先办房产证再拆迁。
对此，华泰公司相关负责人表示，改造后原有职工都会有红本房产证，回迁不用出一分钱。而华泰改造的合作单位新世界集团负责人严先生也称，华泰小区的改造有开发商向政府(福田区旧改局)做担保，开发商向银行存入巨额资金进行抵押。即便是开发商倒闭了，原有业主仍可获得每平米1.5万元的现金补偿。
