附近的村民说“我们这的山大家都叫神山，人杰地灵，以前就不时有老古董被挖出，特别是去年，发现了一个西周贵族的墓葬，里面有大量的珍贵文物。”
一位现场挖掘的工作人员称“这次挖掘陕西考古队和宝鸡考古队已经进行了一个月了，昨天才露出一些文物，具体应和去年出土的文物类似，毕竟这两个坑离这么近，具体情况将等待发现结果统一对外报告。”(人民网陕西频道新闻调查部)
