“黄金玉米”再引关注
网络上转载的相关报道称：最近湖南怀化市通道县警方通报，经过一年努力，破获了公安部督办的“美国黄金玉米”特大销售伪劣种子案。国际关系学院教授李文良在报道中透露，湖南“黄金玉米”案中的种子，不仅是劣质种子，而且部分种子可能含转基因成分。
“黄金玉米”很容易让人与此前的转基因“黄金大米”事件联系起来。2008年，在没有依法报批的情况下，美国塔夫茨大学和中国合作者在湖南衡南县一所小学开展黄金大米的人体试验，2012年这一试验被曝光后而引起轩然大波，“黄金大米”一度成为令人恐慌的词汇。
官方称是“三无种子”
记者了解到，此次媒体报道的湖南“黄金玉米”与“黄金大米”并无关联。
事实上，此次“黄金玉米”涉及的主要问题是未经审定和试种以及存在着质量问题。通道县农业局有关负责人介绍，2012年，通道县一家蔬菜合作社与广东省某玉米加工厂合作，由加工厂提供种子并且负责收购，合作社引进种植了200亩左右的甜玉米，但到当年8月份发现没结果实，农业部门开始介入调查，随后将案件移交至公安部门。
湖南省农业厅调查组发现，这批种子全部来自广东一家叫做“连州明丰”的公司，是没有经过审定和试种的“三无产品”，其发芽率和成苗率分别只有16%和48%。由于未经审定和试种，种子质量参差不齐，加上各地气候、土壤环境等因素影响，导致上述现象的出现。
湖南省农业厅农业行政执法总队总队长胡祥文介绍，目前湖南省在怀化、湘西州、郴州三地共查获同品种种子7000公斤。随后相关部门对此进行了检测，暂未发现含有转基因成分。
记者20日致电国际关系学院教授李文良进行核实，他表示“黄金玉米”种子可能含有转基因成分是有些农业专家检测结果，但这是个人行为，不是官方行为。
种子销售渠道复杂
中国农科院作物科学研究院研究员佟屏亚认为，通过正规渠道，转基因种子一般都能够被“挡住”。如果此次黄金玉米含有转基因成分，可能正是通过走私等非正规渠道进入的，这反映出中国种子进口的监管还不够严格。
记者调查中了解到，目前我国种子销售渠道异常复杂，一些诸如厂家直销、邮政配送甚至“网购”等新途径，成为种子进口、销售的监管新难点。
湖南省通道县农业局有关负责人说，一些农民直接将“网购”的新品种进行小范围试种，不与农业部门沟通，对于这种“乱种”的现象很难监管。
