在业内人士看来，现在除了顺丰、EMS等少数企业实行直营模式，圆通、申通、韵达等大多数快递公司实行的是加盟模式，难免存在管理松散、监管不到位的情况，这些分公司和加盟网点一直是各种违法违规行为的"重灾区"。徐勇：
徐勇：我认为到2020年以后，我们中国的快递企业应该是以自营为主、加盟为辅，因为加盟制不利于我们国家快递行业一体化、品牌化、标准化、自动化和机械化这样一个产业链模式。这种商业模式它已经完成历史使命了，未来应该退出快递市场。
截至目前，涉事快递企业都已受到邮政主管部门的相关处罚，圆通方面在对受害者致歉的同时，也已表态，决定将涉事的潍坊加盟店清理出加盟网络。

现在快递业的高速发展已经是无需多言了，但是硬币都有两面，快递业高歌猛进的时候问题也如影随形。从拖延送货到监守自盗，从暴力筛检到入室抢劫，快递业的阴暗面早已浮出水面。一系列的偶然意外事件已经证明，快递业必然存在的安全漏洞。
在此之前，不少企业认为瑕不掩瑜，某些事件都是快递员的个人行为，与企业无关，从而导致安全漏洞被漠视，甚至被雪藏。这或许是企业负责人侥幸心理在作祟，或许是企业本身就不愿意正视问题，再或许是企业太忙了，忙到无暇顾及脚上的烂疮。我们在这里呼吁，希望"毒快递"一死九伤的惨剧能够震醒这些"盲"碌的快递，"盲"是盲人的"盲"，不要遮挡了眼睛，企业不能再熟视无睹，监管部门更是不能"雷声大雨点小"，否则类似事件还会再次上演。当偶发事件频频发生的时候，敲响的就不再仅仅是警钟了。
