　　南都讯 记者程姝雯 昨晚，中纪委监察部网站通报：中央防范和处理邪教问题领导小组副组长、办公室主任，公安部党委副书记、副部长李东生涉嫌严重违纪违法，目前正接受组织调查。

　　南都记者了解到，12月9日是李东生最后一次公开露面。当日，他出席了公安部直属机关局处级领导干部集中轮训班开班的报告会。

　　据公安部网站介绍，今年58岁的李东生，是排名第二的公安部副部长，仅次于杨焕宁。他于2009年10月调任公安部，任公安部党委成员、副部长(正部级)，副总警监警衔。2011年2月起，升任公安部副部长、党委副书记。

　　进入公安部之前，李东生并无政法工作经历。公开简历显示，李东生20岁赴复旦大学新闻系就读，毕业后到中央电视台从摄影记者干起，并在中央电视台“扎根”20多年，历任中央电视台新闻部时政组副组长、政文部副主任、新闻采访部副主任、主任、新闻中心主任和副台长。

　　据中国新闻出版总署下设的韬奋基金会介绍，李东生曾获第二届韬奋新闻奖。曾长期从事国家重大政治活动采访的李东生，参加过中国共产党十二大、十四大、十五大、邓小平逝世、香港回归等新闻事件报道。而1994年央视推出的《焦点访谈》栏目，他便是主要创意、组织、终审者之一，时任总理朱镕基也曾公开表示，自己每天都看《焦点访谈》。

　　2000年，李东生告别记者生涯，出任广电总局副局长，两年后升任中共中央宣传部副部长。2008年3月就任十一届全国人大常委、教科文卫委员会委员。

　　李东生也成为十八大之后被查的第二名中央委员，今年9月1日，原国务院国资委主任、中国石油天然气集团公司总经理蒋洁敏因为同样的原因，被中纪委调查。

　　梳理中纪委公开通报，去年十八大召开至今13个月内，除上述两名十八届中央委员被调查外，李春城、王永春两位十八届中央候补委员落马；另外，还有13名副省级以上官员落马：刘铁男、倪发科、郭永祥、王素毅、李达球、李华林、季建业、廖少华、陈柏槐、郭有明、许杰、陈安众、童名谦。
