　　仪式由湖南省委副书记孙金龙主持。湖南省委、省人大常委会、省政府、省政协、省军区在长领导和部分老同志，毛泽东同志亲属及部分特邀嘉宾与社会各界代表参加了仪式。

　　巍巍韶峰，青松翠柏，伟人风范，永励后人。上午9时30分，仪式正式开始，韶山毛泽东广场庄严肃穆。随着激昂的音乐响起，威武的武警礼兵迈着坚定有力的正步，护送着花篮走向毛泽东同志铜像。徐守盛等领导和毛泽东同志亲属代表李敏、李讷等，仔细整理花篮上的红色缎带。全体在场人员向毛泽东同志铜像鞠躬，表达深切缅怀之情。
