据媒体报道称，近日，济南市民王先生从当地沃尔玛超市买了包装好的、产地为山东的熟牛肉、驴肉，食用后发现味道和色泽不对，于是将这些肉送到了权威检测机构检测。其中，驴肉的检测结果显示，驴成分、鸭成分未检出，狐狸成分检出。狐狸皮虽然名贵，但是狐狸肉则是以骚臭“闻名”，并不值钱，有狐狸养殖户表示，狐狸肉经过处理，可脱去臭味，有人专门收购，最低1元1斤。
对于这一涉嫌欺诈消费者的行为，沃尔玛昨天发声明，对此事给公众带来的困惑深表歉意。沃尔玛称，公司在第一时间下架封存了该商品。
沃尔玛表示，此次事件的商品生产商是德州市福聚德食品有限公司，商品供应商是济南哲昱经贸有限公司，均有合格资质，“公司已暂停与该生产商的合作，并正积极配合工商部门对此事严查，追究相关责任人的法律责任，并会根据检测结果采取进一步行动”。
对于“狐狸肉”事件，沃尔玛方面相关负责人昨天表示，问题产品并未在北京市场销售。

沃尔玛曾涉绿色猪肉事件
类似“挂牛头卖狐狸肉”事件并不是第一次发生。2011年，沃尔玛曾曝出“绿色猪肉”事件。当年8月25日，重庆市工商局组织了8个分局对沃尔玛在渝门店进行全面检查，发现有3家门店涉嫌用普通猪肉冒充“绿色猪肉”对外销售，于是对沃尔玛在渝门店立案调查。重庆警方通报显示，自2010年1月以来，沃尔玛多家分店以普通猪肉冒充“绿色猪肉”对外销售，涉案销售金额达190万余元。除没收违法所得外，并处以违法所得5倍罚款(约269万元)，10家门店停业15天整顿。
