Beijing commercial housing sales drop shrinking

Xinhuanet, Beijing, August 14 (reporter Ren Feng)-Beijing Municipal Bureau of statistics, the State Statistical Bureau survey data released 14th show in Beijing, January-July, Beijing area of home sales still showed a sharp decline in YOY, but declines tended to reduce.

Statistics show that in January-July, Beijing sales 6.774 million square meters of commercial housing, down 31.5% over a year ago. Compared with 34.8% in the first half of this year, tended to reduce potential drop. First 7 months of this year, home sales in area of 5.051 million square meters, down to 30.3%, compared with the first half of the decline has narrowed.

In terms of real estate supply in January-July, started in 13.939 million square meters of commercial housing in Beijing, down 21.6% over a year ago. Among them, the residential new construction 8.043 million square meters, down 3.8%; office buildings new construction area of 2.195 million square meters, down 28.6%.
