今年的两会上,面对记者追问,董明珠选择了改口,格力的5000万台手机销量从目标变成了理想,“以前我说一年要销售5000万台,结果媒体就说一年过去我没有达成目标,这其实是一个理想,并不是说今天讲了明天就要实现5000万台”。
那么,现在的问题是,格力手机如果要达成5000万台的销量,需要多长时间,又需要做些什么,或者说现在还有什么不足,又有哪些有优势的地方?
“格力需要10年才能圆梦”
格力手机1代销量准确的数据是不知道的,去年科技部举办的活动上,董明珠也只是给了一个比较宽泛的数据,“目前卖了几万部”。
根据中国人的习惯,“几万部”涵盖了从1万到10万之间的所有数目,格力手机1代的销量有可能是这个区间当中的任何一个数,假定这个数为5万台,那么格力手机现实和理想之间的差距,用数学来衡量的话应该是1000倍。
再做一个假设,如果去年出货5万台,而格力手机的销量又能够成倍数增长,今年就可以达到10万台,保持这种速度下去,要突破5000万台的销量,格力可以在10年后的2026年实现目标。
当然,上述两种假设都是建立在基数较小且增幅固定的情况下,换句话说,去年卖了5万台,今年加把劲突破100万台,也不是没有可能,但如果横向对比,就会发现要突破这个数据并非易事。

董明珠口中略显惨淡的“几万台”销量,几乎是在说格力还未做好准备,“格力还在进行产品其它重要功能的研发,所以目前并未对外开卖”,这是格力自己对出货量远不及预期的评估,而此时距离格力手机开卖已经过去了近两个月的时间,距离格力手机项目启动,也就是第一次和雷军对赌,过去了两年。
我们不知道董明珠口中的重要功能指的是什么,但格力手机1代没有太突出的亮点是事实,已经放出的产品评测对其评价也都不太理想,“三年不换机成了笑话”,“这货真值1600元?”这样的观点和格力自己口中“分分钟秒掉小米”更是差的太远,一个早就不是新鲜话题的红外遥控功能,与重要性靠在一起显得生硬。
格力的准备不充分,也体现在天猫聚划算的下架风波上。
去年8月份,格力手机在聚划算预热,3天之后开启抢购,当时公布的销量是1000台,售价则是1599元,但是开抢前抢购的链接突然被撤销,商品下架,而官方给出的理由竟然是“(活动)是我们安徽一个经销商自己做的,未取得总部授权,所以令其撤销,目前产能供不应求,何时公开发售,尽请等候通知”,既然供不应求那就让经销商去卖,或者自己敞开着卖,有货拿着不卖,格力手机怎么了?
靠ODM秒杀对手
从最开始的分分钟秒杀小米,到分分钟秒杀iPhone6s,董明珠给人的感觉总是在四处夸海口来为自己的格力手机背书,然而现实却是格力的手机采用ODM方案。
根据此前工信部曝光的消息,格力手机1代由深圳卓易智造代工生产,整体的配置和做工都表现一般,唯一有价值的遥控模块还被董明珠开机画面的话题性给淹没了。
新消息显示,格力手机2代同样采用的是ODM方案,具体的代工厂名称位置,但传闻早期曾为中兴负责运营商定制机业务,而中兴在低端机方面长期被用户调侃为“剁手兴”,格力可以选择这样的ODM,但却需要摆脱像中兴那样的魔咒。
关键是,“格力手机打算利用ODM方案”来秒杀小米、华为、三星、苹果这些对手或者不是“对手”的对手?
采用ODM方案也可以看作是格力的“快餐方案”,而不是长久之计,靠ODM方案取胜这个目标就跟格力手机5000万台销量一样,太理想了,董明珠应该深谙此道,在此之前,格力就曾表达过自己做硬件和软件的设想,“格力二代、三代手机都在研究,但我们现在手机业务规模太小,外界不了解,我们还积极在做,格力想硬件、软件都自己搞”。
线下渠道是个优质资产
格力手机2代开卖的脚步越来越近,但是怎么卖还是个未知数。
此前有消息曝光称,格力手机在销售上采取了摊派的措施,强制内部员工认购再予以返现,随后更是有线下经销商摊派的内容曝光,但不可否认的是,在线下渠道方面,格力拥有众多手机厂商不具备的优势,甚至是小米、华为都难以企及。
根据公开的数据,格力目前在全国大致有27家区域性的销售公司,覆盖全国且独立于连锁卖场之外的专卖店在2014年就已经超过了3万家,而如果这些渠道全部为格力手机铺路的话,即便是第一代格力手机,销量也不应该像董明珠所说的那样只有“几万台”,而这也可以看成是格力没有做好准备的一个方面。
格力的线下渠道之所以可以看成是优质资产,一方面是vivo和OPPO这样扎根在线下的品牌在过去几年挣得盆满钵满,另一方面则是小米和魅族这样的品牌正在大力的构筑线下渠道体系为维持销量增长。
vivo和OPPO在过去的几年时间堪称“闷声发大财”,其中vivo在2015年出货量突破了4000万台,收入突破400亿,线下成了最为关键的环节,OPPO则是在2015年突破了5000万台的销量,在2000元-2999元这个区间内牢牢占据份额第一的比重。此外,互联网品牌也加快了往线下渠道扩张的步伐,其中小米除了牵手苏宁、国美这类连锁卖场之外,也在逐步推进小米之家的建设,华为则是在线下,紧挨着苹果和三星开设专卖店。
