昨天，记者采访陈御天的同学与亲友时，听到最多的都是“超级厉害”、“逆天了”这样的评价。这位2003年的高考台州理科状元，是一位计算机天才，又出自中国第一个“围棋之乡”天台，怪不得AlphaGo下围棋这么厉害。
从小到大从没上过补习班
唯一上过的兴趣班就是围棋
陈御天是天台城关后洋陈巷人，出生在医生之家，父母都是在医疗系统工作的，陈御天是家中的独苗。
在陈御天小时候，因为工作忙碌，父母对他并没有什么特殊的教育，唯一的要求就是必须先做完功课才能玩。
“那时候陈御天就很乖巧，屁股特别稳，坐那边学习和看书，一坐就能坐半天。”赵璐璐是陈御天的姨妈，说起外甥陈御天，她掩饰不住自豪。
很多学习特别好的学生，往往是父母抓得紧，补习班上得多的结果，陈御天却是例外。“他从小到大，文化课的补习课一节没上过，唯一学过的就只有围棋。”
为什么会学习围棋呢？天台是中国围棋协会在1988年第一个命名的“围棋之乡”。早在唐宋时期，天台与围棋的渊源就有据可寻。新中国成立后，天台棋坛更是人才辈出，包括朱象映、王庸础、陈立秋，以及中国围棋队总教练、被称为“三连星”之一的棋手俞斌等。
在天台围棋氛围浓厚，几乎所有的小学都普及围棋课。

“土土”（网名）是陈御天的幼儿园及小学同班同学，而初中和高中，两个人也是同校校友，对于陈御天这个天才的情况，他挺了解。

土土说，陈御天小时候长得特别文气，像个女孩子，他还爆了个猛料——
“读幼儿园的时候，男孩子都很调皮，陈御天却一直很安静，非常听话。有一次幼儿园要演出，需要一群女孩子扮演小花朵，但是女孩子不够啊，所以陈御天就被老师抓去充数扮演女同学……”
上小学后，陈御天在学习方面的优势一下子就体现了出来。“你看到他的时候，他基本上都是手上捧着书在看，有时候蹲在那里，就像雕塑一样。”从小到大，几乎就没考过第二名。
如果一定要问陈御天哪门功课最差，土土说那只有体育了。
“他不是那种运动型的男孩，运动神经算不上发达，体育成绩相对来说不太突出，不过也不差，100分的体育拿个70分还能够的。”
土土还爆料，陈御天的妻子，也是从小到大一起读书的同学，“不过，他是个学霸，一直到大学了，两个人才开始谈恋爱。”

记者采访了陈御天各阶段的老师，得到的几乎都是“优秀”、“全面”这样的评语。
从小学三年级拿下全县数学竞赛一等奖开始，陈御天几乎囊括了各阶段各种竞赛的奖项。高中时，他几乎参加了所有学科的各种级别的比赛，只要参赛，至少都能拿回个二等奖。
因为成绩优异，高三未毕业，清华大学就要提前录取他，但陈御天拒绝了，他坚持参加高考，想试一试自己的能力。果然，他顺利地拿到了2003年的台州高考理科状元。
2007年，陈御天拿到清华大学工程学学士，然后到美国加利福尼亚大学尔湾分校攻读计算机的硕士和博士，之后在英国剑桥大学拿到了博士后。
2013年8月，陈御天作为在读博士后，以研究员的身份加入剑桥大学机器学习小组。陈御天感兴趣的研究方向在于计算机视觉领域。陈御天自己也没想到，在博士后毕业后，他再次和幼时结缘的围棋相遇。2015年9月，因为对围棋的兴趣，更因为优秀的计算机专业能力，陈御天正式加入谷歌DeepMind，成为AlphaGo研究团队的一分子。
不过陈御天的父亲陈亚平透露，尽管在国外发展得顺风顺水，但陈御天一直有颗回国的赤诚之心。“他在留意国内是否有合适的机会，只要一有机会，他就会马上回归祖国怀抱，将自己的所学报效祖国。”陈亚平这样说道。
