1、支付技术哪家强?

但跟Apple Pay相比,Samsung Pay更兼容,除NFC技术之外,还支持MST(Magnetic Secure Transmission,磁力安全传输技术),可以全面兼容市面上所有POS机。

也就是说,中国1000多万POS机中的大多数不需要改造就可使用三星智付,商家所需付出成本几乎为0。

2、谁更受银行欢迎?

不同于支付宝、微信支付等第三方支付或独立支付服务,Apple Pay、Samsung Pay是将近场通信技术(NFC)与银行卡支付相结合的全新技术服务,相当于将银行卡实现了“无卡化”、“数字化”和“可视化”,而整个支付实际上还是银行卡支付。

三星电子相关负责人介绍,SamsungPay2015年8月首次在韩国上线,去年9月在美国上线,截至目前在韩国和美国的用户量已经突破500万,这就意味着Galaxy S6、S6 edge、S6 edge+、Note 5、A5和Galaxy A7在这两个国家的销量已经突破500万台。从手机销售数据来看,SamsungPay促成了超过24.9亿美元的营收。

以SamsungPay为桥梁,三星还打算建立一个生态系统,让商家能够给他们的客户提供优惠和积分计划。

除此之外,SamsungPay在韩国、美国截止目前累计交易金额高达5亿美元,他们相信通过分析SamsungPay获得的数据,三星还可以详尽地了解消费者的消费模式,进而从中受益。

4、支持哪些机型?

Apple Pay一样,目前SamsungPay也只支持自己品牌的部分机型。SamsungPay首批支持的机型包括Galaxy S7、Galaxy S7 edge、Galaxy S6 edge+和Galaxy Note 5共4款高端机型。

三星方面表示,未来在Galaxy A9、Galaxy A7等中端机型中也将开通这一功能。

据业内人士分析,这是由于在跟Apple Pay的竞争中,三星的用户群覆盖跟不上,所以会考虑接入自己的中低端手机产品,未来也可能不再局限于三星手机,而是开放给第三方合作伙伴。

5、面临的对手是谁?

Samsung Pay、Apple Pay都是先进入美国市场然后再进入中国市场的,但美国市场毕竟没有像支付宝、微信支付这类的竞争对手。

二维码扫码支付方面,支付宝和微信支付两家占据着线下90%以上的市场份额,特别是支付宝,在2015年将支付场景快速拓展到超市、大型商场、餐馆、连锁快餐、药房等领域。剩下的市场还有百度钱包、京东钱包、拉卡拉钱包等公司在瓜分。

使用NFC技术的Apple Pay、Samsung Pay相当于电子版银行卡,胜在支付方式的便捷性、保密性,而以支付宝、微信支付为代表的二维码扫码支付则在用户习惯和支付场景的多样性上天然有优势。

不过,就像钛媒体作者Alter所说,Apple Pay、Samsung Pay们和支付宝、微信之间,并不是鱼死网破的战争关系,未来合作也不是不可能。
