4月23日下午消息,中国企业家俱乐部2016年绿公司年会今日在山东济南举行,新东方董事长兼首席执行官俞敏洪在“十人看十年”环节应邀发表演讲。

俞敏洪在演讲中一直强调教育的重要性。他认为,中国教育一直是一个狭隘的概念,我们一直认为教育就是教学生认字,教学生做数学题,学习科学知识。但是实际上教育最重要的是培养学生正确的价值体系和人格、人力。教育最重要的核心是良知、理性、判断力、独立思考、精神自由,还有人格独立。如果中国的教育再把知识本身作为教育的核心内容,未来一定玩完,不管出多少个马云都会玩完。

作为一个在教育行业奋斗多年的企业家,俞敏洪认为,目前一个非常重要的趋势是,民间教育正在快速发展,与此同时,技术开始在教育中大规模应用。

据俞敏洪透露,目前新东方每年投入到互联网智能教育和传统教育结合中的钱已经到了5亿人民币以上。政府任何一个研究部门都不可能如此投入,他们也终于开始承认在教育上进行大包大揽不是长久之计。

在演讲过程中,俞敏洪多次提及马云和湖畔大学。俞敏洪称,特别欢迎湖畔大学出现,它的出现是势不可当的趋势。

在最后的提问环节,宽带资本田溯宁提问俞敏洪:你过去干的事是大部分把年轻人送到海外去,每次到海外学校里看到那些孤独的眼神,不知道为何就想起你演讲的情景。未来十年能不能做一个否定自己的事情?俞敏洪反问,一件好事为什么要否定呢?

马蔚华:下面请出的这位演讲者可能我们很熟悉,他有数以千万计青年学生的粉丝,他跟我说过,他说他留过级,但是他确实很多的学子人生升级。他跟我说过,他没留过洋,但是他让成千上万的学生到海外去留学。他被誉为我们中国年轻学生的心灵导师。我不知道大家看没看过《中国合伙人》,那里头有他的身影,他就是俞敏洪先生。

俞敏洪:各位亲爱的朋友们大家下午好,大家已经听得非常非常累了,后面我讲完了还有四位,大家都等待着马云要上场。

我问大家一个问题,面向未来的十年,阿里巴巴、腾讯小米、乐视一定在我们的经济发展视野中间,问大家一个问题是,百年中国经济的兴旺和中国的昌盛,是不是这些公司还会在?我认为这些公司可能就不在了。可能百年以后巴巴阿里就出现了。但是什么东西能够保证中国可持续的发展呢?只有两个字,就是教育。所以百年之后新东方一定会在。我认为只有教育能够保持这个民族长久的兴旺和发展,我们今天都在谈论以色列,谈论美国,我们也都知道美国和以色列这两个国家,在创新方面一直占据着世界最领先的地位,但实际上并不是以色列人有多么聪明,也不是美国人有多么的聪明,最重要的是他们的教育,我们知道美国的大学前一百位,美国占到了60位以上。我们也都知道以色列人平均每一年的读书数量是65本左右,而中国每人每年平均读书数量只有1.5本。所以,只有教育才能够真正把中国从暂时的经济繁荣中间推向未来更加长久的稳定繁荣发展。

教育的目的是什么?教育的目的就是开启一个民族的智慧和这个民族的长久发展之道。今天我们中国遍地的浮躁、假货、贪污腐败、碰瓷、欺骗等等这些行为,尽管有制度的因素在里边,但是我认为中国教育的失败和教育的缺失必须承担非常重要的某种责任。为什么这么说呢?大家稍微想一下我们中国的封建社会,其实不叫封建社会,叫帝国时代,从汉朝开始一直是皇帝的集权统治。但是在中国帝国时代做了一件事情,把儒家的思想意识变成了中国的主流意识,当然儒家的主流意识中间更多的在过去强调了服从,所谓的君要臣死臣不得不死的观念也很深入人心,导致中国整个民族变成了一个只知道服从,要反抗要变成暴力反抗的社会,在没有任何希望的情况下反抗的社会。但是在儒家中间的核心思想,比如说仁义礼智信、温良恭俭让核心意识包括中庸等等概念,确实培养了中国非常核心的阶层,这个阶层可以说是中国的知识分子阶层,在中国古代是士大夫阶层,这个阶层因为从上到下都一直非常受人的尊重,所以这个阶层实际上创造了中国古代两千年坚实的道德价值体系,而这个道德价值体系实际说是我们中国得以一个帝国跟着一个帝国最后能够不断地传承和发展。这样的道德价值体系是在解放以后逐渐被各种革命包括文化大革命等弄得七零八落。我们今天到台湾还能够体会到一点所留下来的这种价值体系,当然面向今天的中国社会,我们已经不再能说儒家的整个体系,所以我从来不相信那些说我们要恢复国学,只要恢复国学了,中国人民就能回到古代的温良恭俭让、仁义礼智信的时代,我从来不相信能够回去,但是我相信儒家文化中的一部分,在今天的这个社会依然管用,但是面向全球化的今天的中国,我们所需要的是新的带动中国人民可以长久持续发展的核心价值观,而这个核心价值观,我们党已经给我们做了非常明确的陈述,那就是社会主义的24字的核心价值观。

三个提倡,倡导富强、民主、文明、和谐,倡导、自由、平等、公正、法治,倡导爱国、敬业、诚信、友善。我们可以看到这里面的倡导中间,比如说爱国、敬业、诚信、友善等这样的词,跟我们古代所一脉相承的儒家文化,今天在山东大地,因为儒家文化来自于山东大地,是非常吻合的。但是我们在儒家文化中间从来没有看到自由、平等、公正、法治这样的字。今天我们政府国家已经把这24个字作为中国的社会主义的核心价值观提出来,我认为这是一个了不起、了不起的进步。但是我们每个人都知道,任何核心的价值观一定不是一句口号,中国已经习惯了讲口号,甚至习惯去喊自己都不相信的东西,喊给别人听。我相信中国企业家群体是一个在中国比较真诚的群体,他们经常讲未来的十年一定是自己心里相信的,等会儿马云讲的话自己相信不相信我不知道,但是马云是因为相信自己和相信自己的预测才做出了阿里巴巴。但是更加重要的是,如果一个国家的核心价值观只是变成一句口号,我觉得这是一件非常可怕的事情,所谓的核心价值观必须以国家的体制、制度、行动和教育来支持和支撑。

我们在过去的几十年,一边说着自己不相信的话,一边做事,给我们这个国家所带来的严重后果实际上我们已经看得非常清楚。

在中国教育一直是一个狭隘的概念,我们一直认为教育就是教学生认字,教学生做数学题,学习科学知识。但是实际上教育最重要的是培养学生正确的价值体系和人格、人力。教育最重要的核心是良知、理性、判断力、独立思考、精神自由,还有人格独立。这些东西都必须变成未来远远不只十年的中国教育的核心内容。我认为所有的创新能力和创造能力更多的是来自于基础思维模式的奠定,如果一个人从小有良知、有判断力培养出来,他的基础思维能力一定具备创新和创造能力,一定不是学科学技术本身能够把创新能力和创造能力所带动起来的。我们中国人高中毕业的时候数学、物理、化学的知识能力远远要高于全世界的任何一个国家。但是以数学为例,中国任何一个高中,哪怕最后一名的学生,跟美国的普通高中生去比,数学能力都要强好多好多,但是全世界前100位的数学家,好象中国几乎没有,而美国占了好象80多位。所以,我觉得中国的教育如果再把知识本身作为教育的核心内容,中国未来一定玩完,不管出多少个马云都会玩完。

中国现有教育中心的死记硬背的模式在现代意义上已经是一个极其过时的,从每一个角度来看都已经失去意义的模式。我儿子今年14岁,我跟他讲任何东西,他都说你根本就不用给我讲,我Google随便一搜,比你讲得好得多得多,但是我说能够用Google和百度艘出各种基础知识,我们还让学生去背,不是教他们一种人格能力和开拓能力,中国的教育是非常可悲的。但是有希望,希望在什么地方?新的学习工具的出现和学习手段的出现,不仅仅能够提高教育的效率以及扩大教育的范围,而且能够推动一个社会根本上的建设。教育的发展从中国创造的印刷术开始到互联网、移动互联网,最后带来的都是社会的进步。大家稍微回忆一下文艺复兴怎么来的,典型是因为印刷术革命,在印刷术之前,所有的圣经只有教士有,当把圣经成千上万本印出来,老百姓自己可以读圣经也可以解读圣经。文艺复兴开始出现,最后出现了一大堆伟大的人物,直到莎士比亚,大家都知道。从这个角度来说,今天的移动互联网是我认为在印刷术出现以后,给全球带来的一次真正的教育革命和无边界的教育内容的传递。

在今天中国教育一定会有真正的希望,这个希望它来自于什么呢?来自于从下到上的一种变革,而不是一种从上到下的一种要求。中国人都特别习惯于从上到下我们到底应该做什么,而不是从下到上引起一种怎么样的润物细无声的革命。我认为中国上一次真正的革命是来自于经济领域,是来自于过去30多年,其实我们所做的事情,除了国家给予的政策支持以外,更多的是民间力量推动了中国经济的发展。我记得80年代左右的时候,所谓的万元户的出现,只是一个所谓的国家的经济的试点,当年光久雇佣的人超过8个人之后,还引起过邓小平的关注,到底算不算资本主义,中国的民营经济像野草一样拱出了水泥地一般的铁的国有企业的封锁,最后成长为中国真正经济发展的主流力量。我认为下一轮革命一定发生在中国的教育领域。

前两天我做了一件很好玩的事情,十天240个小时全程直播,我做了一个新东方历史上所谓的梦想之旅,我每年都要带着新东方的一些朋友到全国十个二三线城市,不是一线城市,跟那儿的大学生和中学生进行励志的演讲,让他们感受到社会的变革,以及他们怎么样走出中小城市,走向世界。每年大概我自己去演讲20场到30场,受众最多20万,每次我去学校演讲大概5千到1万学生来听。这次我做了一个全程直播,包括早晨起来我回答网友的问题,再到演讲现场的直播,再到一路上包括我自己开车吃饭都是在直播。有人说我想当网红,其实不是,我想体验一下在现代移动互联技术上随时随地是不是可以保证个人的交流沟通,最后带来的结果是惊人的,600万人在线观看,互动信息达到了接近1500万,对这件事情的关注超过了1亿人群。你可以想象,在这样的一种情况下,中国未来的教育如果把内容做好了,会给整个中国的教育带来什么样的发展?更加重要的是我们知道现在所谓的网红时代、娱乐时代,不管怎么样的直播软件,映客也好,都是美女在里边唱歌跳舞的过程。但实际上我认为这只是一个走向未来的必经之路,而走向未来的必经之路,我认为它带来的不是给全民带来大娱乐,因为娱乐的时代必将过去,而是带来深刻的中国价值体系的革命和教育的革命,而这一潮流我们已经可以看到,势不可当,因为我们每一个人都掌握着全球应该掌握的信息,没有任何人可以做到。所以,凡是违反这一规律的,肯定是做不到的。所以,可以说用顺势者昌,逆势者亡来看中国的互联网革命。

我认为有一个非常重要的现象是民间教育的发展和技术在教育中的应用,一定会成为主流,我认为国有教育面对中小学的基础教育,所谓义务植教育,大学完成的基本教育将来肯定还要完成。为什么湖畔大学的兴起已经变得势不可当,马云的湖畔大学不应该再去追求学位教育,最近一个消息EMBA要经过考试才能上,典型是公办教育的自杀行为,而这种自杀行为我认为多多益善。我们更加欢迎像湖畔大学这样教育体系出现。另外像新东方这样的机构,我们每年投入到互联网智能教育和传统教育结合中的钱已经到了5亿人民币以上,这在政府任何的一个研究部门都不可能投入,而政府也终于开始承认在教育上进行大包大揽一定不是长久之计,所以这一次我参加两会,非常高兴的是听李克强说购买民间教育,要从第三方购买,第三方是谁?是我们民间,写入了政府工作报告。

我再次强调,中国尽管需要养猪,需要智能硬件,需要投资,需要燃气,这些对未来的中国十年发展非常重要,但是请记住了百年后中国的昌盛一定是教育所带来的结果,需要我们这个民族变成智慧、理性、正直、独立、创新的民族,谢谢大家!

马蔚华:教育重要理所应当,我很赞成你的观点。当中国的人口红利减少或消失的时候,提高人的素质这是未来提高中国竞争力非常重要的策略,而要实现这一点,教育必不可少。

俞敏洪:一件好事为什么要否定呢?中国是这样的中国的年轻孩子到国外学习,利用国外的优质教育,学成以后回国干活,对中国来说节约了好多成本,干吗不呢?一定要拒绝世界交流,办中国一流大学,我特别烦中国各个大学说要办世界一流大学,世界一流大学是自然办成的,不是你喊出来的,慢慢跟国际接轨。我跟教育部说中国至少有一两所大学应该全英文教学,你要办世界一流大学应该让世界的学生来读书。你不如把中国的某些大学,比如北大、清华中有一所办成全英文大学,为什么不行呢?我不知道。马云在摇头,为什么摇头?不符合社会主义核心价值观是吗?等会儿马云上来讲的时候,让他来表达自己的观点。
